Tour Med has a few models available for touring artists.   


Model 1: Regular office/virtual visits using insurance/fee for service

      Did you know that to be seen for a medical problem at a regular office visits are usually half the cost of an urgent care visit through insurance? ER visits can be up to 10 times the cost for the same problem! Even when using insurance, having your personal doctor see you for your injury/illness is always the most affordable option.  


Model 2: Worker’s Compensation

       Tour Med has a team who specializes in Worker’s Compensation cases when problems arise at work.  


Model 3: subscription based service for tours

For most tours, this is the best model and includes same day appointments, care coordination, and preventative health visits for performers/crews. Studies have shown that with the addition of a regularly available medical team to an organization/team/company, days missed from work decrease by 400% and worker’s compensation costs decreased by half. Staying healthy pays off!

Subscription

This is a monthly subscription with investment based on the number of artists/crew covered in the tour. It includes:

  • Unlimited access to your doctor and the following services:

  • Same day appointments

  • Primary Care

  • Sports Medicine Care

  • Urgent Care

  • Preventative Health

  • Mental Health Care

  • Care coordination- labs/imaging/specialists

Fee for service

This is an option for those who would like to use their insurance for office visits to address health problems. Discounted self pay rates also available.
